Model TB82EC 4-Electrode Conductivity
Transmitter
The TBI Type TB82EC AdvantageTM Conductivity Transmitter is a
unique and advanced microprocessor-based instrument. Smart keys
on the front panel provide for local programming of all transmitter
functions. Easy-to-follow instructions appear above each smart
key A secondary display clearly defines each menu option when
programming the transmitter. During normal operation the secondary
display can show process temperature, concentration type, current
output, sensor group, conductivity value or software revision.
This innovative, user-friendly interface provides for straight-forward
transmitter configuration and calibration. Remote programming
is available via any HART® (highway addressable remote transducer)
compatible hand-held terminal.
The intrinsically safe and nonincendive
Type TB82EC transmitter also meets current CE, NEMA 4X and IP65
requirements. It is compatible with all TBI four-electrode sensors.
Patented four-electrode sensors provide worry-free measurement
by compensating for all sensor fouling that might affect sensor
accuracy. The transmitter provides notification should sensor
fouling become so severe as to affect accuracy Sensor diagnostics
include unique ground loop detection, fouled or dirty sensor,
open or shorted sensor cable, and several other features.

Analyzer
The TBI Type TB84EC Advantage Conductivity Analyzer is a unique
and advanced microprocessor-based instrument. Smart keys on the
front panel provide for local programming of all analyzer functions.
Easy-to-follow instructions appear above each smart key. A secondary
display clearly defines each menu option during analyzer programming.
During normal operation the secondary display shows several useful
parameters. This innovative, user-friendly interface provides
for straightforward analyzer configuration and calibration. Standard
outputs include two isolated analog (current) outputs and three
relay outputs. The analog outputs can be configured for the PV
(process vari-able) and/or temperature. The relay outputs can
be configured for the PV, temperature, diagnostics, cycle timer
controller, or sensor cleaner.
The Type TB84EC analyzer is compatible
with all TBI four-electrode conductivity sensors. These patented
sensors provide worry-free measurement by compensating for all
