RYAN PROCESS
PIPE CLEANING PIGS

Ryan Process can supply you with a wide range of pipe cleaning pigs
for industrial, and municipal wastewater, water and groundwater.

Pipe cleaning programs using polly pigs can restore many underground piping systems to new or almost-new condition and avoid the costly, disruptive messiness of replacement projects.

POLYURETHANE FOAM PIPELINE CLEANERS

STANDARD RED SERIES 5-8 lb/ft3
Standard Red Series recommended for Pipeline applications up to 25 miles/41 kilometers in length. Medium Density foam and tough red coating yields a strong resistance to wear yet remains flexible. Some models may be used in pipelines with minor cross sectional diameter reductions or restrictions.

DURABLE CRIMSON SERIES SERIES 9/10 lb/ft3
Durable Crimson Series recommended for pipeline applications exceeding 25 miles/41 kilometers in length or where internal pipe conditions are extremely rough. Hard Density durable foam and toughest crimson coating give maximum wear resistance. Suggested for use in constant dimensional lines and 1 1/2 radius or greater bends.

FLEXIBLE BLUE SERIES 5-8 lb/ft3
Same Medium Density foam as Red Series with a softer, more flexible blue coating. Ideal for use in lines with major reductions in cross sectional area and short radius bends.

MAXIMUM CLEANING SERIES - VARIOUS FOAM DENSITIES AND COATINGS
Maximum cleaning series are available in various densities and designs. The SUPER JAVELINA is totally covered with wire brush straps in a slight spiral pattern. The POWER BRUSH, totally coated with wire brush straps in a straight pattern design, allows sufficient by-pass to clean the brushes and suspend debris ahead of the cleaner. Both the SUPER JAVELINA and POWER BRUSH cleaners are designed for long runs. The SHARK is totally covered with Silicone Carbide chips and designed for shorter runs. The STUD cleaner has steel studs embedded in durable foam for removing hard scales.

SWAB SERIES 1,2 and lb/ft3
Soft Bare Swabs available, 1, 2 or 4 lb/ft density foams. Available with flat or tapered nose. Maximum flexibility to negotiate extreme reductions in cross sectional diameter and tight bends. The HYDROPIG is available in 2 lb/ft density foam with flexible blue coating. Wire brush straps or silicone carbide can be incorporated in coating.

HAND-LAUNCH PIG
Easy to use, one size fits all pipe of that diameter - a 6-inch Hand-Launch Pig can be inserted, by hand, into all 6-inch pipe, from Class 50 Ductile Iron Pipe to 6-inch Schedule 160 Steel Pipe.
It saves the operator the considerable expense of launchers, a simple, line-sized wye fitting with a removable blind flange is sufficient to get the pig into the pipeline.
It's manufactured using urethane foam and elastomer that is softer than the pipeline material - no damage!

DISC PIGS
Our disc pigs offers the pipeline operator a pig with the scraping ability of a disc pig and the flexibility of a foam pig. The Foam Pig's multiple scraping surfaces provide superior wiping power in a pig that can be inserted into the system without the necessity of an expensive launcher. As with all our pigs, the Disc Pig is available in a variety of foam densities and coatings.

ULTRA-SEAL PIGS
Unique Ultra-Seal Pig is indeed "One of a Kind". Designed for demanding applications where only minimal product by-pass can be tolerated, the Ultra-Seal delivers as promised with the lowest measurable by-pass in the pigging industry.
The Ultra-Seal Pig is available in numerous configurations to meet specific pipeline conditions. Foam density can be varied from 2 pounds per cubic foot through 10 pounds per cubic foot, while the hardness of the elastomeric backbone can be as soft and pliable as 60 Shore A, or as hard and durable as 90 Shore A Durometer.
The standard Ultra-Seal Pig has flat, polyurethane elastomer discs on each end. This is the optimum design for dewatering, batching of dissimilar products, and for fluid removal in pipelines of all sizes and pipe materials.
The EZ-Launch Nose Ultra-Seal Pig is designed for use in pipelines with vertical launchers or changes in pipe diameter due to varying wall thicknesses or weld beads such as found in HDPE piping.

DC-CUP: The Strongest and the Longest Wearing Polyurethane Cup For Pipeline Pigs
PATENTED SURFACE BEARING AREA DESIGN AND FLEX POINT OFFER THE MAXIMUM IN WEAR RESISTANCE AND SEALING ABILITY
The DC Cup has three times more wear surface in contact with the pipe wall for extended cup life. The Flex Point allows the wear surface to be held consistently in firm contact with the pipe wall for superior sealing.

SUPERIOR SCRAPING EDGE
The DC Cup's patented Scraping Edge provides the ultimate design for removing deposits from the pipe wall. The disc-like edge presented to the pipe wall offers a significant improvement in scraping ability over the standard rounded edge found on conventional cups.

THE STRENGTH TO SUPPORT THE HEAVIEST INSPECTION TOOLS
The DC Cups patented design provides the pipeliner with a superior strength cup capable of supporting the weight of even the heaviest of the sophisticated internal inspection pigs.

MOUNTING DIMENSIONS TO FIT ALL MANUFACTURER'S MANDREL-TYPE PIGS
The DC Cup is available with mounting dimensions to fit all mandrel pigs regardless of the original manufacturer. Dimensions such as the center hole diameter, the bolt circle diameter, and the number and size of bolts are specified by the customer to insure that the cups fit your pig.

AVAILABLE IN ULTRATHANE, THE ULTRA PERFORMANCE URETHANE
The patented DC Cup is available in a variety of custom-blended, high strength, long-wearing urethane formulations known as UltraThane™. The exact formulation is determined by the function that the pig is to perform, the length of the run and other job specific criteria.
